New competition is coming up for Apple's iPod with the announcement of Microsoft's Zune MP3/Entertainment Player. Zune will feature a 30GB hard drive, 3” LCD screen, FM tuner, and the ability to wirelessly share media. Zune will also support several types of audio, video, and image formats.

The only thing I ask is can Microsoft contend with Apple's simple interface and easy usability? I guess we'll have to see.
