Catalyst Studios teams with Target and 3M to help the Minnesota Orchestra start off the 2005-06 season in a big way by designing elaborate murals to wrap the exterior of Orchestra Hall. The sidewalk-to-roof murals are part of the "Get Wrapped Up in the Minnesota Orchestra" festivities. The wraps are designed to cast Orchestra Hall as a dazzling centerpiece for the two weeks of festivities that kick off the 2005-06 orchestra season. The intention of covering the building in 25,000 square feet of opaque film is to bring the orchestra out of the building and into the streets of downtown Minneapolis. In the evening, portions of the wrap will illuminate to create a festive atmosphere around Orchestra Hall and its neighbor, Peavy Plaza.
