This weekend Mackenzie and I went to Tampa. She is working to get a new job at an emerging home decor catalog called greenMango. I was talking with greenMango's product buyer and she introduced me to the Color Cue. She told me it is probably one of the best purchases she has ever made. Basically the Color Cue optically recognizes colors on fabric, skin, wood, cucumbers, whatever, and displays the Pantone number that corresponds with the color.

No more buying a $70 shirt because the green is a perfect sample of something you want to replicate in a design. Just snap the color with the Color Cue and it will tell you the Pantone Color. There are different Color Cues for different Pantone books, so make sure you buy the right one.
